From the brand: The details of this shirt have been studied with care in order to provide the highest level of Italian know-how. This button down white shirt is made in Naples and possesses an elegant and timeless cut. Composition: 100% cotton, woven in Italy by Thomas Mason, twill weave OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified Button down collar French seams Pleated shoulder or Spalla con Grinze Mother-of-pearl buttons, ”Zampa di gallina” stitched Misalignment under the armscye One button, rounded cuff Hem gusset Horizontal stitching on the last buttonhole Made in Italy Care instructions: Wash inside out at 30 °C maximum Air dry Do not bleach Do not tumble dry Details: The pleated sleeve head, or spalla con grinze: a bigger sleeve is filled into a smaller and higher armhole, resulting in a somewhat "puffed" shoulder/sleeve finish. Offering more comfort during movement. Buttons made from mother-of-pearl give an extra touch of prestige to the shirt; with an eye for detail, the buttons are stitched on Zampa di Gallina. French seams-located on each side of the shirt’s body, inside the sleeves and at the armscye, are realised with only one thread visible on the more refined French seam because the other is inside the shirt. In this manner, the seams are almost invisible and offer greater resistance to your shirt. Misalignment under the armscye: this assembly technique involves a slight imbalance in the sleeves symmetry and prevents gaping at the junction point of the underarm stitches. It significantly increases comfort. The last buttonhole is sewn on horizontally in order to avoid tensing the buttonhole seams inside the trousers. Hem gussets (Mosca) are small fabric triangles that bind the front and the back of the shirttails in order to reinforce the junction, as it helps to preserve the seams on the sides of the shirt when you pull on it when tucking it into your trousers.
