I was looking at pictures of all the kids in my old neighborhood, growing up.
One guy was the star of the basketball team and I grabbed the idea for these tanks straight from his uniform :)
This tank started out as a white with blue ringer tank, but then we dipped it in aqua blue and voila - a new, striking & vivid combo.
Perfect for a summer to remember
If you look closely, you will see some very cool 'striations' in the fabric - this is created by the over-dye process.
Each of the three yarns in the tri-blend soaks in the dye differently.
Since the three yarns absorb color differently, there will be slight variances in the shades of aqua that make it into the fabric, creating a subtle "high/low" effect - almost mimicking a texture
