We made this tie from a polyester (i.e. durable) fabric. It has a very light satin finish to it, but we wouldn’t consider it shiny or dull. It features a fabric covered snap front and center to secure. The band adjusts to fit up to a 17-inch neck size. To wear this crossover tie, you simply adjust the band to your neck size, cross one end over the other and snap it shut. Depending which way you cross it, the ends may either point down or lay flat. Look around and you’ll see people wearing crossover ties both ways, so there is no right or wrong way. The important thing is to make sure everyone in a group setting is wearing it the same way.
