This all new silhouette was engineered to meet the highest performance rigor and was tested and approved by both Van innovation team and top factory riders really putting the Peak through it's paces.
The uppers boast an athletic-inspired bootie construction combines tongue, collar, and Luxliner for a comfortable and seamless fit, while leather overlays offer durability and support. An added lace pocket keeps your laces from catching in the cranks or chain. For even more protection and comfort the Peak has an EVA foam insert underneath the rubber toe cap.
The Peak is packed full of features and technology specifically for BMX. Including the UltimateWaffle construction combining a full length, molded UltraCush midsole and pedal tuned outsole providing superior grip and the molded TPU shank in the midsole extending to the heel to support and reduce foot fatigue all while maintaining flexibility in the shoe.
Lastly the Peak utilises Vans VDFPR (Van Doren Factory Pedal Recipe) rubber in the outsole, another technology approved by their team riders, this proprietary gum compound is specifically formulated to enhance pedal grip and durability.
