Designer Yue Wu sought out to create timeless designs for some of the most heritage-heavy silhouettes in the New Balance portfolio as part of the 'Refined Future' collection. The concept behind what Yue Wu considers 'timeless' looks at the longevity and lifespan of the New Balance sneaks on the streets of Boston, MA.
Using a design blueprint of cut-outs, layering techniques and mesh inserts, these sneakers have the look of being pre-distressed already, because a distressed pair of trainers can only mean that they're comfortable and well-loved.
Sustainable style; New Balance uses 50% more recycled materials for the upper and uses leather that supports the 'LWG' (Leather Working Group).
