When White Oak shut down in 2017, we grabbed as much OG denim as we could.
We’re on our last few rolls.
Since then, I’ve been on a mission, connecting to the most
hallowed denim mills on the planet, searching for the right one
to make our new OG.
I found it in Japan — Nihon Menpu.
This jean is that the same weight, same feel, similar look;
so much so that when you see them you’ll say
“I love those OG’s!”, but when you look closer,
the warp yarns have a little more slub,
and the weave is a little looser,
the selvage line has one thread of red,
and the dark indigo is a little warmer.
This new OG is the brother to the the first OG

Not a twin, not a copy.
