Wilde Merchant House Penny Loafer - Women's
Product Description
Introducing the Wilde Penny Loafers, a unique fusion of Western and Eastern artistry. Featuring a captivating digitally printed design inspired by a 19th-century woodblock print, these loafers embody both historical charm and modern style. The elegant silhouette offers versatility for a range of occasions, making them perfect for casual outings or more refined events. From the brand: Titled “Foreign Merchant House”, Japanese Edu period artist, Sadahide Utagawa, gave us a historical glimpse into a Western gone Eastern business encounter during the 19th Century transformative era. We’re presented an architecturally European merchant house against a classically Japanese landscape, capturing tough negotiation around the far side table without losing any stylised 1865 charm. Originally produced using an inked woodblock printing method, these Wilde Penny Loafers feature a digitally printed design across the vamp instead.
