Product Description

Inspired by maritime legends, this unique bracelet features a robust 6 mm round rope design complemented by a chic black D-shackle. Reflecting the adventurous spirit of sailors, it embodies resilience and style, making it perfect for both casual and adventurous wear. The iconic Pig & Hen story adds a layer of history and charm, ideal for those seeking a blend of fashion and narrative in their accessories. From the brand: DESCRIPTION No rum for Salty Steve: his favourite drink is seawater and he drinks it by the gallon. Thanks to this disturbing ability, he has survived the sinking of a myriad of ships and has been sailing the seas longer than anybody knows. He is a quiet man with a salt crusted beard who will just silently stare at you when you ask him his age. We have created Pig & Hen to help us find that way… In the early 1600’s the Dutch were the leading nation sailing out to unknown parts of the world, with the biggest naval fleet the world had ever seen. With some serious sea legs, they discovered new lands, different ways of life but also ran into some big obstacles along the way. To protect themselves against bad luck the men had a tattoo of a pig and a hen on their feet. It was believed it gave the sailors the ability to survive when they had to abandon ship. The sailors felt they would be able to find land, just like the Pig and Hen who were kept in wooden crates and thus floated, and would let the tide bring them home.
