The Deck Pant is the newest fit in our chino lineup. Our goal was to design a comfortable pant with a timeless aesthetic. Starting with our slim straight Workers Chino as a template, we opened up the top block by adding room to the thigh and giving the pant a higher rise for a more relaxed seat. The leg opening was also widened to create a balanced straight-fit. We employed the same interior finishing details found on our Workers Chino, including a two-piece waistband finished with binding and herringbone pocket bags from Japan.
The Deck Pant’s name is a nod to the military reproduction fabric it is made from. Weighing in at 10 ounces, this Japanese fabric features a dobby weave structure that gives the face of the pant a unique texture, similar to broken twill. This weave also adds durability. The inseam features flat felled construction for even more durability. Leaving no detail overlooked, we had real horn buttons custom made in Italy. We also washed the pant to remove shrinkage and make sizing easier. The Deck Pant is built for the long haul and ready for adventure.
