From the brand: Jeff Clark was born in 1957 in Redwood City in Northern California before moving with his family to Miramar Beach in Half Moon boy as a young boy. At the age of 17 he paddled out alone to the big waves of Mavericks. Over the next years he surfed Mavericks alone whereas today it is internationally known and home to some of the world's premiere big wave surf competitions. Recognized by Surfer Magazine as one of the world's best big wave surfers, Clark opened up Mavericks Surf Shop in 1995 where they sell surfboards shaped by Jeff Clark along with other surf apparel and merchandise.
