The raincoat is sewn in Seattle from our 8-oz. oil finish Cover Cloth, a tightly woven cotton canvas with a waxed finish for lasting water resistance. Periodic rewaxing will keep it shedding rain for years.
Inside, the torso is lined with 24-oz. Mackinaw Wool, our trusted cold-weather mainstay for more than a century. The sleeves are lined with lightweight cotton canvas that slides easily over layers. The hood's structured brim keeps rain and snow out of your eyes. A storm flap guards the chin-high zipper. Snap-secured cuffs and hand-pocket flaps seal out the weather.
Freeman has been making raincoats in Seattle since 2011, starting in a Capitol Hill apartment and building a loyal following through local craft and timeless design.
