The fabric is a reproduction of 11oz denim originally produced by AMOSKEAG, one of the world’s largest fabric manufacturers in the 19th century. It recreates the deep indigo characteristic of the period when synthetic indigo was beginning to replace natural indigo, along with the pronounced uneven texture created by the low-spinning technology of the 1800s.
