PH5 FALL WINTER 2026 COLLECTION // A LOVE LETTER TO THE DARK SKY
For Fall/Winter 2026, PH5 looks upward. Inspired by the global movement to protect dark skies, the collection is rooted in a profound encounter with one of nature’s most endangered luxuries: a night sky untouched by artificial light.
Designer Zoe travelled to Warrumbungle National Park in Australia, the world’s first internationally certified Dark Sky Park, where she experienced the overwhelming beauty of true darkness beneath an uninterrupted canopy of stars. In a world shaped by constant illumination, screens, and endless consumption, the night sky has become a rare luxury. The experience recalled an early PH5 team trip to Hawaii, when on their first night the group was so moved by the sky’s beauty that they lay down on the road for an unobstructed view. Together, these moments reinforced a desire to step away from the
internet, pause constant input, and rediscover stillness, presence, and awe in the natural world.
Translated through PH5’s signature knitwear language, the collection features intricate jacquards that mirror the depth, movement, and quiet rhythm of the night sky. Polka dots appear throughout, reimagined as abstract constellations rather than literal stars. Lurex, sequins and embellishments are placed with intention, creating subtle points of light that recall the soft twinkle of distant stars rather than the glare of artificial illumination.
For Fall/Winter 2026, PH5 continues its exploration of innovation, play, and purpose, using design as a medium to advocate for environmental preservation and intentional pause. By honoring the dark sky, the collection proposes a quieter form of luxury, one rooted in stillness, protection, and the simple act of looking up.
