From the brand: New for Autumn / Winter 2026 is our much-loved Original Aran Crew Neck in our beautifully soft Cashmere and Merino blended yarn. Aran patterns were passed down within Island families with pride, signifying the deep-rooted familial craft heritage of the Aran Islands. Inis Meáin's signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a tailored, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes. The Original Aran motif carries down the sleeves, finished neatly with rib cuffs to match the hem and neck. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.
Available in Navy Fleck, a medium navy with electric blue and white highlight flecks. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
