JH Editions is an ongoing series of hand formed pieces by Jess Hannah, developed in her Los Angeles studio and marking the designer's return to the bench after years away from hand-making. Each piece begins in wax and is produced either as a singular work or in limited, closed editions.
Beginning with antique seal fobs, a long-standing obsession of Jess's, sourced via auctions and travels. Molds are taken directly from the original forms; the resulting waxes are then fragmented and reworked alongside hand-carved elements, creating composite pieces that combine familiar references in new configurations.
