Brass Double Loop Ring
Product Description
Crafted from brass, this sculptural ring features a unique dual-opening design, allowing versatile wear. It showcases a striking high polish that mimics mirrored glass, enhancing its contemporary artistry. The creation process involves a meticulous approach starting from a glass ring, transforming into a rubber mold, and culminating in a beautifully finished metal piece. This ring effortlessly merges sophistication with modern design, making it a standout accessory for any occasion. From the brand: Brass sculptural ring. Ring can be worn in both openings. This ring is cast with a unique process. The artist starts with making a glass ring, then a rubber mold of the glass ring, and then finally a wax is made in the rubber mold. The wax then is used to cast a metal ring. The metal rings are brought to a high polish, to resemble mercury or mirrored glass. Jane D’Arensbourg launched her glass jewelry designs in 2002 in NYC. Jane’s process starts with raw, durable, borosilicate glass that she transformed with a torch free form. Using heat and gravity to shape the glass, the artist handcrafts one-of-a-kind sculptural jewelry. Jane D'Arensbourg has exhibited in museums and galleries internationally. Her work can be found from New York to Japan.
