A test print is a one-of-a-kind print created during the screen printing process. Before producing a final edition of prints, we use test sheets to ensure that the colors are correct, the registration is aligned, and the ink is evenly distributed.
I keep these prints through multiple different editions, and as the layers build up.. The result can be a unique abstract, composition. These test prints often turn out more interesting than the artwork in my actual print runs. Each is unique, offering a behind-the-scenes look at my screen printing process.
