From the brand: Alain Gerbault was a French Venturer, who is known to be the first Solo Navigator who Sailed the Atlantic from East to West. But in his Spare time he would mix with the "Beau Monde" in France, especially at the Cote d'Azur. After the WWI he would become a Professional Tennis player. In 1920 he would participate in the Tennis tournament of the Beau Site Hotel, in Cannes.
