My grandmother, Anna Mae was sharp as a tack and sweet as sugar. She had to in order to balance her ambitious, intellectual husband. She was the definition of southern class and elegance. She loved her grandchildren like crazy and did anything she could to help us.
This belt may not be exposed to the same kind of pressure as the Roscoe belt but it probably could. Like the Roscoe, the Anna Mae is made from full grain leather and is as strong as its size will allow.
Please note the size in inches of the circumference of the body where the belt will most typically be worn (there are 7 holes, 1 inch apart to accommodate a size range of pants that sit higher or lower on the waist).
