Product Description

This lightweight 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannel from Brooklyn Clothing Co. offers a breathable alternative to traditional heavy flannels, making it ideal for warmer months. Inspired by classic Iron Heart colorways, this shirt features intricate patterns made from reactive-dyed yarns for added durability and colorfastness. With its unique design and quality Japanese craftsmanship, it's a striking addition to any wardrobe, perfect for stylish layering or casual outings. From the brand: Offering a lighter weight alternative to Iron Heart's signature Ultra Heavy Flannel (UHF) shirts, these 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannels provide classic Iron Heart styling in a cooler, more breathable option for the warmer months. This season's plaids offer a sort of “greatest hits”, inspired by some of Iron Heart's most popular UHF colourways from over the years. Unlike previous 9oz flannels — which were rope- and sulphur-dyed to allow for fading — these fabrics are woven with more reactive-dyed yarns for a more colourfast finish. With only four shuttle looms in Japan capable of producing these intricate patterns (which require switching the weft yarn mid-weave), our SS26 shirts are among the most distinctive Japanese-made flannels available this season.
