This cut was in reference to the first jeans made for women in the 50's.
The fabric is 11OZ selvedge denim made of yard count:7 warps and 12 wefts. The dyeing does not include any sulfur so that the tinge on the surface is light blue, beautiful natural indigo.
It's one and only TCB's jeans only for female.High waist with relaxed thigh and legs. Good old jeans which Ms. Norma loved.
10th June 2021: We have secretly been working on a small change on the selvedge ID of Norma Jeans.So, now our Norma have this basket-woven selvedge ID just like the vintage. Basket weave is ,to simply put, a rough plain weave but I'm not sure the Levis did this kind of playful detail on the female jeans. The color arrangement of the basket weave is faithfully reproduced in the order of 5 ecru threads, 1 grey thread, 3 pink threads, another gray and 3 ecru.
