Samurai Union Ticket
A unique collaboration that took over 10 months to perfect, this flannel combines our design vision with Samurai’s renowned quality when it comes to shirting. Featuring custom colors inspired by our logo and the rich hues of selvedge denim, each shirt is woven in Japan’s famed Nishiwaki region.
We worked closely with the Samurai team in Osaka to refine the colors and pattern, resulting in a distinctive flannel. The shirt features indigo-dyed nut buttons that develop a beautiful patina over time, reinforced elbow panels, and triple-needle chainstitching throughout for maximum durability. As a final touch, our signature red stitching adorns the extended collar tab, adding a subtle but meaningful detail point.

in Japanese) translates as classic, usually meaning old literature. Upon the commencement of this project, we knew classic was our keyword. With Samurai’s flannel DNA already embracing eccentric colorways and patterns for their regular lineup releases, we wanted to bring things back to the classics, if you will. Hues and patterns that scream a classic flannel shirt. An homage to American vintage workwear under a contemporary lens.

**We conducted a shrinkage test with a size XL, using a machine wash and dry cycle
. The XL shrunk -0.4" at the chest, -0.4" at the shoulders, -1" at the center back, -0.6" at the sleeves and -0.1" at the cuffs.
