Produced on a 吊り編み機 (or French Circular Knitting machine) to craft a supreme loopwheel fabric that is now only able to be produced in two factories in Wakayama, Japan, the heavyweight loop wheel fabric is produced painstakingly slowly and carefully. Developed from scratch by the mad scientists over at SDA, the fabric uses a much thicker yarn count allowing for premium heat retention and insulation.
On average, a French Circular Knitting machine can only perform 24 rotations a minute, and yields an average of 1 meter per hour. That means that it took a cool 1.5-2 hours of spinning simply to craft the fabric that went into the production of this sweatshirt.
The combination of the insulation the fabric provides along with the slim construction of this hoodie ensures a snug, comfortable fit with warmth throughout.
