Built around unique wooden lasts carved by hand, Clinch aims to recreate the build and style of 1940's boots from the ground up. All components are carefully sourced to create a boot that stands apart.
Made exclusively for Clutch Cafe the Clinch Cowboy boots are here! The first iteration we have are made from their signature Horsehide and come in a brown colour-way. These are built on their new HR Last, introduced this year for the construction of their new Cowboy boots. They have a beautifully sculpted shape, arguably the most distinctive and desired detail of this hand-carved wooden last created by Clinch. The fit is snug, contouring to the foot, with the intent of the leather moulding to the shape of your foot over time.
These feature a slanted style heel, using a reproduction 'O'Sullivan's' Heel Block (O'Sullivan's was an American manufacturer of heels and patented this style in 1899). The vamp front features a unique crease line through the centre, similar to vintage Engineer boot styles as well as somewhat of a Clinch signature. Contrasting stitching, leather pull-ups, 270 degree flat welt & hand sewn welted construction all adds to the beauty of these boots!
