Founded in 1950, Marwan Al-Nabulsi, also better known as Abu Bassam, originally launched this textile factory making school uniforms, wool sweaters, and Kufiyas. The Kufiya holds a deep sentimental value to the Palestinian people and has become an icon of resistance, struggle, and freedom.
