Jumping between sketchbook studies, painting assignments, figure drawing, and 3D projects. Some pieces feel like quick observational drawings or notes from a museum visit; others are more considered, like finals for a critique. We played with different styles and mediums, drawing hands, portraits, sculptures, and imagined artifacts. As part of the world-building, we created a fictional art school called Northfield, and some of the garments feature the school's crest-a symbol for this imagined community of young artists. Together, the pieces tell the story of a student trying things out, figuring out their voice-curious, inconsistent, and full of energy.
