From the brand: The denim comes from Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Narrow-width goods, woven slowly on traditional shuttle looms to maintain density and tension. The fabric has a deep, dark indigo shade with a tight, even surface that will develop contrast with wear rather than washing out early.
The cimosa (
selvedge) is custom and intentionally more pronounced than typical
selvedge IDs. It’s woven into the fabric and gives a clear visual identity.
Construction was handled in Italy by a small, experienced denim workshop. Stitching is consistent throughout with proper thread tension, clean seam finishing, and reinforced stress points. The waistband, fly, and pocket construction are all done with durability.
Even the hardware was considered. The buttons carry laurel leaf and star detailing; an old symbol of quality and work done right.
