Fit Notes:
Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size (3) in the pictures. This is decidedly the most comfortable in the waist for him but also gives him that roomy vintage fit he's looking for. This round is by nature roomy throughout, so it's mostly about getting the waist right.
Follow that and you should be fine. If you're not sure, go with the bigger size. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with between a 33-34" waist.
