From the brand: Playfully interpreted in a signature U&O block print that was inspired by traditional Athangudi tiles commonly seen in South India. Printed in the traditional kalamkari block printing technique using a combination of natural dyes. Kalamkari is a special block-printed cotton textile that refers to the ancient style of hand painting that was born out of the art of storytelling. Making Kalamkari fabric involves 23-steps including treating and preparing the fabric, preparing the dyes and finally hand printing with precision and care.
