Product Description

The Samira tunic embraces the charm of traditional craftsmanship with a unique resist dyeing process. Crafted from sustainable, handwoven kora cotton, it features soft gathers and billowy sleeves suited for versatile styling. Whether worn as a dress or layered for added flair, its natural indigo design ensures each piece is exclusive. Ideal for warm weather, this tunic offers both comfort and elegance, making it a perfect addition to any wardrobe seeking authentic, handcrafted fashion. From the brand: It all starts with a dot. One of the most fundamental elements of creation, we found inspiration from the elemental dot and applied it in a repeating stripe pattern. This print is printed using the traditional process of resist dyeing using mud printing in Dabu and dyed in natural indigo. The Samira tunic has soft gathers, billowy sleeves and versatile styling options. Style as you please – wear alone as a dress, layer over pants or wear open as a light outerwear piece. Our naturally dyed kora fabric is an ideal weight for the summer and provides ease of wear throughout the warm season. With a unique hand feel due to the hand weaving of its handspun yarn, kora is our signature fabric. SPECIFICATIONS - 100% Handwoven Seed&U cotton - Sustainably dyed using natural dyes - Button-front placket with hand-made covered buttons - 3/4 Length Sleeves - Elasticized sleeves - Straight bottom hem - Below the knee length Produced in a limited run with exclusive handcrafted fabrics. Due to the nature of the print, each piece is unique. Indigo dyeing is a special process that requires special attention. Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments and after several initial washes, the color will stabilize. Over time, the natural and graceful fading process results in a uniquely personalized piece. We recommend hand washing separately in cold water using natural detergents and drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are designed to last when treated with care. Size Info
