"HINOYA" original sweatshirts were born from the voices of our staff and customers saying, "This is the kind of sweatshirt we want." It's a sweatshirt that charms with its meticulous Japanese craftsmanship and durability for long-lasting wear. This upgraded version features four-needle stitching using a flatseamer sewing machine. The sweatshirt fabric is made using rare low-speed circular knitting machines, comparable in rarity to loopwheel knitting machines. This precious domestic fabric can only produce about 20 pieces per day.
We aimed not for extreme softness, but for a "sweatshirt you grow with" that develops its texture the more you wear it. It recreates vintage sweatshirt details, such as the tubular body and double V-gussets. Additionally, the armholes and length have been adjusted for a modern fit, resulting in a balanced, clean silhouette even when layered. The soft, brushed lining is perfect for keeping warm in fall and winter. It starts with a firm texture, but with each wash and wear, it molds to your body, developing into “your own unique sweatshirt” just like denim.
