It has a slightly relaxed fit around the waist and gently tapers toward the hem, creating a straight silhouette that is neither too wide nor too slim, with a vintage jeans aesthetic.
These straight jeans are made from 17oz slub denim. Inspired by “murakumo” (clusters of clouds scattered across a blue sky), we developed an original denim to express this imagery. The fabric features a bright, deep blue indigo dye combined with heavily slubbed yarn. By using this yarn for both warp and weft, the weft appears unevenly on the surface, recreating the look of clustered clouds. As with our standard denim, the yarn is rope-dyed with indigo, allowing you to enjoy the fading over time.
