19世紀後半創業のオーストリアの老舗メーカーの60年代のニットカーディガンがベースとなっている。 このメーカーはイギリスからニットの技術を持ち込んだとされている。かなり度詰めのニットで首元の折り返し部分まで縫い目がない成形編みで続いているのは非常に高度な技術である。 ラムと成羊の中間のWEANERSという羊毛を主に、ファインメリノウールをブレンドした、ラムの柔軟性と成羊メリノの弾力性を併せもた糸を使用。
The cardigan is an inspiration from a 1960s knit cardigan by an old-established Austrian manufacturer founded in the late 19th century, which is said to have introduced knitting techniques from the UK. The cardigan showcases a tightly knitted fabric and a seamless, shaped knitting technique that extends to the neck fold-over, a feature quite advanced in earlier times.
We used yarns made primarily from WEANERS wool, which is intermediate between lamb and mature sheep, blended with fine Merino wool to obtain the softness of lamb wool and the elasticity of mature Merino wool.
