Rooted in American military heritage, these fatigue pants are a faithful reproduction of the transitional model worn by the US Army just after World War II. Originally inspired by the Baker Pants, they were developed as the link between the utilitarian trousers of the 1940s and the OG-107 adopted in the early 1950s, marking the last major use of HBT (Herringbone Twill) fabric by the US military.
With a loose, straight cut, high waist, button fly, large front patch pockets and rear flap pockets, the design reflects the robust and functional spirit of the era.
For this reproduction, Universal Surplus relied on its military archives to restore every detail, from the chevron fabric to the brown plastic buttons, offering two shades of olive green as well as a blue version inspired by postwar workwear.
