From the brand: We've been making this exact chambray workshirt with the same mill and same factory since the very first Spring/Summer Wythe collection. But after all these years we realized we hadn't tapped into our factory's rich history of embroideries. Working with one of our vintage dealers a few years back, we came across a well-loved denim shirt chock-full of different DIY embroideries. So we passed along some designs we made based on some of the embroideries on that vintage denim shirt, and this is the result.
The embroideries on the cuff are done completely by hand, hence the price. That same chambray workshirt you love, but with just enough flair added to it.
The "Distressed and Sunfaded" colorway is based on an actual shirt pulled from a Kentucky farmhouse that had seen years and years of hard work in the sun. The fade and wear patterns were carefully replicated for an authentic look and feel.
