Product Description

Featuring a striking sax blue check, this 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannel shirt is a lightweight alternative to traditional heavy flannels. Crafted in Japan using intricate weaving techniques, it offers a colorfast finish while ensuring breathability for warmer months. The regular fit work shirt cut, complete with stylish white 4-hole button fastenings, embodies classic design and standout style, perfect for layering or wearing solo. From the brand: Offering a lighter weight alternative to our signature Ultra Heavy Flannel (UHF) shirts, our 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannels provide classic Iron Heart styling in a cooler, more breathable option for the warmer months. We’ve designed this season’s plaids to offer a sort of “greatest hits”, inspired by some of our most popular UHF colourways from over the years. Unlike previous 9oz flannels — which were rope- and sulphur-dyed to allow for fading — these fabrics are woven with more reactive-dyed yarns for a more colourfast finish. With only four shuttle looms in Japan capable of producing these intricate patterns (which require switching the weft yarn mid-weave), our SS26 shirts are among the most distinctive Japanese-made flannels available this season. This model features our regular fit work shirt cut, complete with white 4-hole button fastenings, in a classic sax blue check — reminiscent of our sought-after 20th anniversary UHF from 2022.
