This style draws inspiration from the military fatigue/utility pants worn by U.S. troops in the 1950s, offering a wider, more relaxed fit and higher rise than many of our cuts. In Japan, these are referred to as “baker” pants, as their defining square patch pockets resemble loaves of bread.
This model is made from 10oz back sateen cloth — an authentic military fabric woven with double yarn for a stiffer, crispier feel, and sulphur-dyed to allow the colour to mellow and fade with vintage character.
