From the brand: The “DAYTONA” ringer tee commemorates America’s most historic motorcycle race, the DAYTONA 200. In 1959, the highly dangerous MOTORCYCLE CLASSICS race wasn’t just located at Daytona Beach, but the race was run on the beach itself. Motorcycle clubs, outlaws, and daredevils sought victory through reckless speed on the sands of Daytona wearing denim, leather, and tubular knit tees such as these.
This graphic from our archive of vintage prints has been applied by hand at our Kobe HQ and just like the original, will age over time with wearing and washing. The DAYTONA tee is cut from 100% 8oz. Cotton into a boxy, slightly cropped vintage-style fit, ribbed with contrasting green collar and cuffs, and sewn with 100% cotton threads.
