From the brand: We know prison-style wear can be very hit-or-miss for people. With movies like Grand Budapest Hotel, we saw a ton of blue/cream stripe jackets that looked so incredible, but people found them hard to style. We find that the trick to this is to only wear the tops or the bottoms. When we saw these in the catalogs, we thought...oh they might be too much for some people. When we got them on for the photoshoot, our perception changed entirely. We've seen a ton of vertically striped pants, but not in all the years we've been selling clothing have we seen a horizontal pant. The 14x10 selvedge has a ton of starch and feels like a work pant out of the gate — this means instant shaping to the leg and at the back of the knee. As we said, we were converted instantly. When we see something we've never seen before it adds an extra tinge of excitement. This buckle-back, prisoner pant is one of the coolest things Warehouse has ever produced.

Fit Notes:
As you can see from the charts, these have a roomier fit than most Warehouse garments. However, keep in mind that these are the unwashed version and you'll need to pay attention that shrinkage. Tommy is wearing a 33 in the pictures which was about spot on in the waist. He could stick with that and hope for enough stretch that the shrinkage won't matter...but he will probably wind up snagging a pair of the 34s to account for shrinkage. Being that they're a roomier straight-cut, that's all that really matters. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist, and his typical North American size is a 32 while he normally wears 33 in Japanese brands.
