Ramie has been used for over five thousand years in China, India, and Indonesia, so it's older than cotton. It uses very little water, fertilisers, or pesticides. The fabric breathes incredibly well and is super comfortable to wear - it is also one of the strongest natural fibres, like hemp, that does not shrink and is resistant to bacteria and mould.
