The PH5 Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a visual exploration of the quiet beauty found in the interplay between light and shadow. Designer Zoe, inspired by a moment of personal change, draws from her experience of settling into a new home, one with limited natural light, yet abundant with plants. For days, Zoe watched the way the sun moved through the space, casting gentle shadows of leaves across the walls, transforming the environment with each passing hour to make sure the plants were able to thrive. This became the foundation for the season: a meditation on light's ephemeral presence and the fleeting nature of shadows.
As the collection evolved, we looked forward to summer moments spent resting under trees in the park where the dappled sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a dynamic, ever-shifting play of light and shadow on the body. This imagery informs much of the collection, from the knitted jacquards to the delicate draping’s and gatherings of lightweight fabrics.
Flowers, too, take on new dimensions this season. Hand-crocheted 3D blooms appear throughout the collection, their forms enhanced by subtle changes in yarn that create an integrated sense of shadow, as if lit by sunlight from above. This motif continues in striped styles where a single flower, knitted directly into the fabric, etched in soft relief, quiet, sculptural, and sun-touched.
PH5’s signature UV-reactive yarn also returns this season, adding an element of playful transformation. When worn beneath sunlight, these garments respond to UV rays by revealing hidden patterns, inviting the wearer to create their own personal prints simply by relaxing under a tree. The result is a collection that doesn’t just reference the light—it interacts with it.
