GOOD TROUBLE TEE
Product Description
This vibrant yellow TSPTR tee is crafted from premium 100% certified organic cotton, showcasing an eco-friendly ink print inspired by the iconic 1970s Los Angeles head shop, The Good Trouble Psychedelic Shop. With a nod to civil rights hero John Lewis, this shirt blends nostalgia and activism for a bold statement. Ethically made in Portugal, it combines style with sustainability, making it a perfect addition to any retro-inspired wardrobe. From the brand: Yellow premium weight 100% cotton certified organic TSPTR tee with eco ink print The Good Trouble Psychedelic Shop was a Los Angeles head shop catering to the local hippie community. A beautiful suburban relic adorned with murals and hippie ephemera. The shop, originally named Heads and Highs, opened its doors in 1970. The first products carried were lifestyle goods including black lights, posters, stickers, patches, wood pipes, rolling papers, roach clips, and a full underground comics book collection featuring Zap comix and the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. Longer pipes started to evolve as bamboo bongs began to come out of Vietnam. At the time it was in vogue to get lead out of rifles and guns and smoke weed in the chamber. The beloved icon continued to thrive, albeit discreetly in contrast to the wild counter-culture scene of its past until the mid 1980s. "Good trouble" is a famous phrase coined by late U.S. Congressman and civil rights leader John Lewis, encouraging the active disruption of the status quo to fight for equality and, as Lewis said, "redeem the soul of America".
