They've got a unique 3-pocket configuration, with no seat pockets, and extra-tall belt loops all the way around the waistband. The fly uses nut buttons, and these trousers feature 100% cotton threads throughout for historical accuracy.
These are made from an extremely thick double layer wool herringbone, which is almost impossible to see beneath the hairy, fuzzy texture of the fabric's face. This stiff wool will relax and break in over time, and with wear, the herringbone pattern of the fabric will become more prominent.
