With a high rise, comfortable thigh, and very slight taper to a leg opening big enough to fit a pair of boots under, they're an excellent cowboy twist on a classic tapered fit. The double flat felled seams on each leg add strength and longevity to the pants, while still maintaining the selvedge detail on the outseam.

16oz double black selvedge denim from Japan. Featuring a consistent and tightly-woven face, these are a classic all-black jean, and will fade very slowly and very evenly over time, softening considerably with time as they break in. The fabric is also sanforized, meaning it's been treated to shrink as little as possible, taking the guesswork and stress out of sizing.
The rest of the details are exactly what we've come to expect from Freenote: custom brass hardware, Japanese herringbone pocket bags, tonal "antique gold" selvedge ticker and all custom labels (woven and leather). Construction-wise there are no surprises either, with durable flat-felled seams and Freenote's signature 1/8" double needle stitching accents keeping the whole thing held together.
