From the brand: The Keynot Jacket is a brand new style from Freenote for Spring '26, inspired by vintage hunting jackets, it features a relaxed fit with a whole bunch of pockets for storage and utility. It's a seriously well-designed garment, with a ton of details that take it beyond just looking good, from the bi-swing back for extra ease of movement, to the "3D" pocket sewing, allowing for additional storage, to the rear game pocket, which goes all the way through the back of the garment.
The body is made from a 100% cotton, 15oz selvedge duck canvas from Japan. Brand new, it's a very heavy and stiff fabric — one that promises to age beautifully over time, softening considerably and fading from wear and washes. It's additionally trimmed with a dark brown cotton corduroy, specifically through the collar and yoke (inside and outside), for extra comfort and insulation, as well as a bit of visual contrast.
The trims are equally superior, from the custom corozo nut catseye buttons, to the internal elastic bands sewn into the bi-swing back, to Freenote's usual 1/8" double-needle stitching details. It's a jacket that will age alongside you, developing a unique patina with wear and breaking in to the shape of your body over time.
