That is not good design nor is it sustainable. This is primarily because most beanies have little to no elastane content in their yarn, combined with low quality cotton or something else synthetic. This might allow for off-the-shelf shaping, but significantly decreases the overall life of the product. Fundamentally, this should be the other way around).
