It’s crafted from an all-cotton fabric we call “Premium Jersey.” Named for the largest of the Channel Islands where it originated, off the French coast of Normandy, Jersey is both solid and opaque, but also soft and breathable. Its structure gives it good drape and makes for an excellent base layer. Ours is made from piece-dyed and garment-washed Portuguese cotton, which has a smooth, dense, extra-soft handfeel.
