The legs are cut plenty long, so as to not diminish the scale of these pants with an insufficiently long inseam, and will fit over any footwear you can find. The waist closes up with a classic Gurkha belt system - fully adjustable and integrated into the pants, they also include internal suspender buttons for additional security. The style itself is less rooted in historical reproduction and more of a "what if", these being a pair of pants that didn't exist in the 1940s, but very well could have. They're made from a 100% cotton military herringbone, designed to most faithfully imitate vintage US Army textiles. Woven with unevenly-sized yarns, it has a slightly more pronounced texture throughout that will age handsomely over time. The herringbone weave is also perfect for hotter weather, breathing more easily and draping more naturally than most other cotton fabrics.
