Dayton Shirt L/S - Tumbleweed Plaid
Product Description
Inspired by classic 1950s work shirts, the Dayton Shirt features a relaxed fit with a camp collar and twin chest pockets, making it an ideal choice for casual outings. Crafted from a custom 6oz Japanese wool blend plaid, it offers a vintage-style feel that's soft and insulating, perfect for cooler weather. With durable construction details like metal catseye buttons and reinforcements, this shirt combines practicality and style effortlessly, pairing beautifully with autumn fashion pieces. From the brand: Inspired by knockabout work shirts from the 1950s onwards, the Dayton Shirt is your classic Garage work shirt, complete with camp collar, twin chest pockets, and roomy full sleeves. The fit is pretty standard, breezy and unrestrictive but in general not too slim or too wide, with a comfortable body that wears well both tucked and untucked. It's made with Freenote's usual stellar construction, including their usual 1/8" double needle stitching and durable felled seams. The hardware, buttons in this case, are metal repro catseye buttons from Japan, and can be found the whole way up the placket as well as at the top of each chest pocket. After finishing, each shirt is also rinsed to account for any shrinkage and to help relax the fabric. It's made from a custom 6oz Japanese wool blend plaid with a super dry, vintage-style hand. It's immediately soft and comfortable, requiring no break-in and insulating well when temperatures drop. It's a really beautiful blend of warm orange, gold, and teal yarns that pair well with typical Autumn styles. Fits true to size. Dry clean only.
