Broadcloths are the perfect weight for year-round wear and have little to no texture for a clean, smooth appearance and easy pattern matching. Their light weight tends to make them more prone to wrinkling than twills or pinpoints, however they iron up nicely and can even be worn washed without ironing for a slightly rumpled casual look.
